MANDULA – THE MOST EFFICIENT LURE FOR PREDATOR’S FISHING
They have proven their unspeakable effectiveness over the years in the former Soviet Union waters : rivers , lakes and reservoirs and the everywhere in Europe in jig fishing. 100% handmade work with individual approach to every detail and color combinations of the customer's choice in order to achieve maximum efficiency in different regions of Bulgaria and abroad .
The MANDULA has a well-expressed buoyancy and instant response to the angler's movements, making it irresistible even for the most passive predators. The idea of the Mandula is to mimic a fish looking for food on the bottom, which in 100% of cases causes an attack by predators who are territorial fish and do not allow uninvited guests on their territory.
The MANDULA equally working excellent in both : standing waters and in the streams of all small , medium and large rivers.
Only high-quality materials have been used in the production of our MANDULAS in order to achieve maximum longevity and efficiency:
Each MANDULA is assembled using the Stainless steel wire of the Italian company "D.E.C.A." with four different diameters: for MICRO and MINI models we use 0,6 mm wire with 27 LBS tensile test , for the MEDIUM and MAXI models the wire is 0.8 mm and a 47 LBS tensile test. . for the GOLIATH, S-PIKE and STRIKER models, the material has a diameter of 1.00 mm and a tensile test of 83 LBS kg. And finally for the CATFISH , MUSKIE and above range the wire we use is with diameter 1,5 mm and 195 LBS tensile test .
The rings we use are made by the Australian company "HALCO" as the diameter vary from 6 to 10 mm of diameter .
The floating elements of the construction of our MANDULAS are made of different types of materials: Micro-pore rubber from ( EVA foam ) supplied from one of the leading companies : "SELEKTA Ltd." With various density ratios, depending on the depth of fishing action and vary between 10 and 90 kg / cubic meter : For baits to be used at depths of up to 6 -7 meters we use EVA material with a lower density, less buoyancy, but with a lower weight, and a more dense material with greater buoyancy is used for MANDULAS over 10-15 and above meters. The other type of floating elements that are incorporated in the MANDULAS building are balls , molded in high pressure styrofoam , very high density and snag resistance but at the same time with excellent buoyancy. They are painted in Fluorescent Yellow, Orange and Red and so many multicolored ones and are excellently visible at greater depths and in bad weather. The diameters used are from 4 up to 15 mm.
We use few models of high-quality triple hooks that have proven their efficiency and durability over the years: The large sizes are "BLACK SCORPION" and VMC . They are used as core hooks installed in the main MANDULA sections For the various models of MANDULA , most often used sizes are from # 3/0 down to # 6 . The hooks we use for tail-fitting (first hook) are FEATHER PLATINUM SERIES. The tail hooks used ranged from # 0 to # 8. In some models orientated to catfish chasing we use single hooks of “Black Cat” brand with sizes from # 0 up to # 9/0 .
The tail design is made with a high quality bundle of four different components: 1. UV / 3D lamellae; 2. FLUO HI-VIZ FIBERS and 3. Very fine optically active CRYSTAL FLASH filaments that capture even the thinnest light even at great depths, constantly changing their color. 4. Feathers from swan , dove and pheasant . The combination of these four components in the tail of the MANDULAS makes them subject to lightning attacks by predators and even by the most passive and cautious of them.
In conclusion, I only want to add two things: Firstly, the MANDULA is a 100% effective jig bait, and Second is the selection of the right color for the moment, depending on the weather, the water basin and the fish preferences (as with silicone lures, spoon lures and wobblers). I do not engage anybody with my opinion that the color, size or shape catches the fish, but the fisherman. An experienced fisherman with a strong sense of keeping the jig's lure, who can change the elements of the game and seeks the most effective bait behavior, having fish on the hook more often than others .
Last words : from the top of my over 25 years of experience with MANDULA ( I’ve tried them for the first time in the spring of 1993 at Dnepr River ) I confidently declare that the MANDULA is not a panacea and does not guarantee successful fishing every time, but as a correlation between success with other spinning baits and MANDULAS , then the MANDULAS have always had a crushing superiority.
And one very last , but not last in importance : MANDUL’S material allowed You to use differend kinds of attractors and dips to treat your lure , and the scent will last for hours , but not like with the common spinning baits made from metal or plastic , where the scent goes away in 1-2 minutes in 2-3 castings .
So do not waste your time: order and go give yourself full with adrenaline and good catch emotions !
